Abstract: To overcome the high optical extinction, near-infrared observations are needed for probing the microlensing events toward the Galactic center. The 2015-2019 UKIRT microlensing survey toward the Galactic center is the first dedicated precursor near-infrared (NIR) survey for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. We here report our recent work on analyzing the UKIRT microlensing survey data, reaching l=b=0 degree. We detect 532 clear microlensing events, 426 possible microlensing events, and 28 possible anomalous events. Accounting for the detection efficiency, the NIR microlensing event rates are rising toward the Galactic center and higher than the optical event rates.

Short Bio: 马波 副教授,目前在中山大学物理与天文学院任教。本科毕业于南京大学天文系,博士毕业于佛罗里达大学天文系。主要研究方向是使用视向速度法和凌星法探测太阳系外行星,并对太阳系外行星的大气进行研究。目前主持和参与国家自然科学基金和科技部重点研发计划科研项目四项。
